SPICE for 201 & 230 Spring 2021

Spice tutorials and example

Tutorials are step-by-step instructions that show how to use specific features of SPICE on a specific platform. Tutorials are usually offered in triplicate — one for PSPICE, one for LTspice on MacOS, and one for LTspice on Windows. Examples show how SPICE can be used to analyze different type of circuits encountered in EE 201 and EE 230. (And maybe some for EE 333). Usually, the examples do not include step-by-step instructions, since the focus is on what you can do rather than how to do it. Also, there is usually only one version of SPICE used for an example — the assumption being that someone using LTspice on a Mac should be able to look at an example done using PSPICE and be able to replicate the simulation setup on their Mac.
